- Examine your home's lines of defense. If you have a porch or area that overlooks the outdoors, consider installing outdoor fans. Mosquitos are terrible flyers and will have a hard time landing and biting you with even a gentle breeze.
- Take a look at your window and door screens and make sure they are in good repair.
- As spring turns into summer, try to remain aware of how often you leave non-screened doors and windows open, as most often this is how mosquitoes get inside.
